The Teacher Education Department of Eastern Visayas State University- Ormoc Campus organized a General Orientation of Students and Parents yesterday, September 16, 2022 at EVSU- OC covered court.

The purpose of the orientation was to inform the students, particularly the freshmen, of the Mission, Vision, Core Values, and guidelines abided by the school.

In attendance were the Campus Director, Dr. Gerry B. de Cadiz, newly appointed Head of Teacher Education Dept., Dr. Beatrice D. Mabitad. Former Teacher Education Dept. Head, Dr. Delicia C. Inghug, faculty and students of the said department.

Dr. de Cadiz told the students in his message that ” ..𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓪𝓻𝓮 𝓱𝓮𝓻𝓮 𝓲𝓷 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓤𝓷𝓲𝓿𝓮𝓻𝓼𝓲𝓽𝔂 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝓸𝓷𝓮 𝓹𝓾𝓻𝓹𝓸𝓼𝓮…𝓽𝓸 𝓯𝓲𝓷𝓲𝓼𝓱.. …𝒾𝓎𝒶𝓃 𝒶𝓎 𝓂𝒶𝓉𝓊𝓉𝓸 𝓀𝒶𝓎𝓸”. He reminded the students of their main goal in entering EVSU- OC.

Dr. Beatrice Mabitad, as the new department head, introduced the faculty to the students. It was followed by the introduction of different organization officers from education department.
