he students of Eastern Visayas State University-Ormoc Campus celebrated the annual Organization Days with the theme “Empowering Unity Through Shared Passion” on February 16, 2024, at the EVSU-OC covered court. The 2-day event kicked off with a vibrant parade, showcasing the diverse charms and banners of the twelve participating student organizations.

Formally commencing the event, Dr. Joergen T. Arradaza, Jr., the Head of the Student Affairs and Services Office (SASO), extended a warm welcome highlighting the essence of the celebration—to give an opportunity for EVSUnistas to truly experience camaraderie and agility through encouraging active participation in various activities and competitions. It was then followed with a special message by the President of Supreme Student Government , Hon. Nikolai Villegas, where he moved EVSUnistas to build good foundation of unity among each other.

Moreover, the yell competition had set the mood as the different organizations showcased their wit and vivacity. The seven candidates for the search of EVSU Babe 2024 also took the spot light during their sashing ceremony.

During the afternoon, the momentum continued with an intense debate circulating on relevant societal topics which served as students platform to express their insights on local and even national concerns. Keeping the atmosphere in balance, the “Laro ng Lahi” games which featured sack race, tug of war, longest line and takyan, also took place that provoked loud cheers and competitive spirits among the students.

The Day 2 of Organization Days 2024 is still on going with various competitions. One of the most anticipated segment to take place on the second day of the event is the pageant proper of EVSU Babe 2024.
