In a dazzling display of talent and passion, the EVSU-OC DanceSport Team was once again proclaimed as champions at the World DanceSport Federation Cebu Open and 3rd Philippine DanceSport Federation Quarterly Ranking held on September 30, 2023. The event, hosted at the luxurious WaterFront Hotel and Casino Grand Ball Room in Lahug, Cebu City, witnessed the remarkable homegrown dancers of Ormoc, owning the stage with exceptional prowess and finesse.

The EVSUnistas who triumphed during the said competition were: Desiree Solejon and Harris Rapales, Grade C Modern Standard Champion; Michelle Balderas and Jamis Ortega, Grade D1 Modern Standard Champion and Grade D2 Modern Standard Champion; Bernadette Caidlang and Nonito Jumao-as, Adult Grade C Latin American Semi-Finalist And Adult Grade D1 Latin American Semi-Finalist; Axl Jhon Estrera and Ferdie Bornasal, Third World Category Top 6 Finalist.
