On March 24, 2025 students, faculty and staff, key officials, and other stakeholders gathered in the Eastern Visayas State University-Ormoc Campus’ Covered Court for the Harampang 2025.

The gathering formally started with an open forum, which served as the main purpose of the event—to have an open discussion and address any possible concerns or issues there may be within the campus.

Key concerns relating to the lack of facilities, the university’s insufficient funds, the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC), and the students’ curriculum were raised. Which in return, were addressed truthfully and efficiently by the University President, Dr. Dennis C. de Paz, along with the key officials.

The Harampang 2025 concluded with clarity which nurtured transparency and an opportunity for a heathy communication throughout campuses and even within its own, allowing all present participants to be informed of the current condition of the university.
