As part of the two-week celebration of Eastern Visayas State University-Ormoc Campus’ 24th Founding Anniversary, faculty and staff gathered for the Gala Night on November 28, 2024, at EVSU-OC covered court.

The event started with a mellow welcome by Dr. Beatrice D. Mabitad, followed by an enthusiastic dance presentation from the Industrial Technology department. Came after the presentation and recognition of the EVSU-OC’s noteworthy pioneering faculty, retirees, and service awardees.

After the acknowledgements, a dance intermission was performed, followed by the awarding for the best dressed of the night, both in the male and female categories as well as from the LGBTQ category. The flamboyant winners are Dr. Allan Mabitad, Ms. Alvi Jean S. Weti, and Dr. Rhoderick Omega, respectively.

Thereafter, all attendees feasted and basked in gratification. Succeeded by a closing remark from the campus director, Dr. Jeffry V. Ocay. The event ended with a merrymaking unity dance.
