EVSU-Ormoc Shines in Recent LET; BSED Math Records Flawless 100% Passing Rate
ORMOC CITY, LEYTE — Eastern Visayas State University – Ormoc Campus (EVSU-OC) has once again solidified its standing as a premier teacher-education institution, following the release of the recent Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) results. The campus celebrated a wave of new Licensed Professional Teachers (LPTs), highlighted by a perfect passing performance in the mathematics specialization.
Leading the charge for the university, the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) Major in Mathematics program achieved a 100% passing rate, with all 35 examinees successfully hurdling the board.
Consistency Across Programs
EVSU-OC’s commitment to academic excellence was evident across all its education programs. The Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) program posted a high passing rate of 93.54% (58 out of 62 passers), while the Bachelor of Physical Education (BPED) followed closely with 89.90% (88 out of 99 passers).
Other major specializations also performed strongly:
- BSED Science: 84.12% (53 out of 63 passers)
- BTVTED: 82.93% (34 out of 41 passers)
Surpassing National Benchmarks
The campus’s overall performance significantly contributed to the university’s reputation, with the Elementary Education category reaching an 84.95% passing rate and the Secondary Education category achieving 84.80%. These figures represent the hard work of 330 total passers from the Ormoc campus alone.
