Students and parents gathered at the EVSU-OC Covered Court today, June 30, 2025, for the on-site orientation on the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 10931, also known as the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act. Organized by the Student Affairs and Services Office (SASO) headed by Dr. Joergen T. Arradaza Jr. and Dr. Charlene C. Pita, Guidance Designated, the orientation seeks to equip incoming freshmen with a clear understanding of their rights and responsibilities under the Free Higher Education (FHE) program. Students from various programs attended the sessions scheduled for today, including: Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd), Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd), Bachelor of Technical Vocational Education Major in Food and Business Management (BTVTED-FSM), Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Science (BSEd-Sci), and Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics (BSEd-Math). Said orientation will continue on July 1-2, 2025, with sessions aligned to the incoming freshmen’s program schedules. SASO reminds all students to arrive at least 30 minutes early and to have their student ID numbers ready for attendance verification.
