EVSU-OC Community Unites for First Flag Ceremony of 2nd Semester A.Y. 2025-2026
ORMOC CITY, Leyte – Marking a fresh start to the academic calendar, the Eastern Visayas State University – Ormoc Campus (EVSU-OC) officially commenced the Second Semester of Academic Year 2025-2026 with a unified Flag Raising Ceremony on Monday morning, January 19, 2026.
The campus grounds were filled with the presence of the entire EVSU-OC community, as students, faculty members, and administrative staff gathered to witness the raising of the Philippine flag. This traditional morning rite served not only as a start to the new term but as a reaffirmation of the university’s collective mission.
Embracing the theme of “Rising Together,” the ceremony set a tone of renewed dedication. The administration highlighted that the rising flag serves as a symbol of the institution’s commitment to its core values: Excellence, Virtue, Service, and Unity.
Beyond the start of classes, the gathering emphasized the university’s broader vision.
