Graduating students of Batch Dilaab, Class of 2025, gathered in a solemn celebration for their Baccalaureate Mass on May 22, 2025, at Mother of the Redeemer Parish, Cogon, Ormoc City. The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Ambrosio V. Avelino, Jr. In his homily, he stressed the significance of acknowledging the journey as a group endeavor made possible by the sacrifices and affection of others, rather than as a solitary one. “You are not here alone,” the priest reminded. In his reflection on the importance of gratitude, he urged the students to give thanks to their parents, teachers, friends, classmates, and mentors who supported them throughout long study sessions, silent prayers, and quiet encouragement, all of which helped them become who and where they are now. Moreover, he reminded the graduands to carry not just knowledge but also humility, faith, and gratefulness into the world beyond the university through the constant presence and grace of the Almighty God.
