ORMOC CITY, Leyte – As the academic year draws to a close, Eastern Visayas State University – Ormoc Campus (EVSU-OC) proudly unveils the “Year-End Highlights of 2025 E-Magazine,” a digital publication encapsulating a defining chapter in the university’s history—a year that moved beyond recovery and chose transformation.
Produced through the collaborative synergy of the EVSU-OC Media Affairs and the Junior Philippine Computer Society (JPCS) – EVSU-OC Chapter, this masterpiece serves as a visual and narrative archive of the triumphs, challenges, and unity that defined 2025.
A Year of “One EVSU” and Bold Transformation The magazine opens with a powerful foreword reflecting on the launch of “One EVSU 2.0,” affirming the institution’s shared vision of becoming the National University for Resilience and Climate Action. From the advancement of the Smart Campus Project to the strengthening of research and innovation centers, the publication chronicles how EVSU-OC has aligned its instruction and extension toward building future-ready communities.
2025 in Review: A Legacy of Excellence Readers can navigate through pages filled with major milestones that brought pride to the campus this year, including:
- The Silver Jubilee: The grand celebration of EVSU-OC’s 25th Founding Anniversary, marked by the theme “Silver Legacy of Resilience.”

- Global Sporting Glory: The historic Silver Medal finishes at the 33rd SEA Games by student-athletes Princess Honey Arbilon and Shyra Mae Aranzado.
