In a commendable display of community service and environmental consciousness, the second-year BSHM students from Eastern Visayas State University have taken the initiative to donate trash bins and flower pots to EVSU-Ormoc Campus. This project was spearheaded by Jasmine Montezon the over all chairman with the guidance of their MICE Instructor Bonard B. Torres, in which aims to promote cleanliness and for the beautification of the educational institution.

Together with this the second year BSHM students organized a show which is “Pagtindog” A comedy show for a cause last May 25, 2024, to raise funds. Their efforts were met with overwhelming support from local businesses and parents for sponsoring and giving donations, and to all the students who helped in selling the tickets, which lead to the purchase of 12 trash bins and 10 flower pots, that has been given on this day June 6, 2024.

These steps taken and horizons broaden by the second year BSHM students of EVSU-Ormoc highlights the power of youth activism and the impact it can have on the community. It serves as an inspiration for other students and schools to engage in projects that promote environmental stewardship and community well-being.
