On September 20, 2024, Eastern Visayas State University-Ormoc Campus held a deployment orientation for newly pinned pre-service teachers following their pinning and oath-taking ceremony. Dr. Guillermo Sadomia, STA Adviser I, emphasized the importance of discipline and respect in the teaching profession, urging future educators to practically apply their learnings from the acquired teaching-learning theories in a real classroom setting.

Afterwards, Ms. Imelda A. Amodia, the Education Program Supervisor and Student Internship Coordinator, discussed the responsibilities of pre-service teachers as outlined in DepEd Order No. 2 s. 2017, highlighting the significance of professionalism. Mr. Christian Frederico R. Lariosa, STA President, provided insights on practice teaching etiquette. Dr. Arnie M. Cadiente, STA Adviser II, concluded the event by congratulating the students on completing three years of academic preparation and stressing the value of good character during and beyond their internships.

Following the orientation, several review centers presented their services and perks offered: the Niño E. Listones Review Center (NLRC), followed by the Managbanag Review Center (MRC), the Carl Balita Review Center (CBRC), and wrapped up by the Professional Academic Review Center (PARC).

This event marks a new chapter for the student teachers, and the presence of the review centers inspires them to realize their potential and excel in their future Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) journey, regardless of their academic backgrounds.
