As part of the final examination week, all second-year civil engineering students, composed of three sections, namely sections A, B, and C, participated and competed in the engaging and exhilarating Amazing Race challenge led by Ms. Krystal Yvonne Delima yesterday, December 22, 2023, at the EVSU-OC oval grounds. The race in which they participated served as their final examination under her subject, which is PATHFIT 212.
Red, blue, and black are the colors dominated and represented by each section. A fun and unique way to end the exhausting week, the three sections engaged in a series of games at different stations, with the first and second stations categorized as easy, which are composed of the spinning game and the pass the ball game. The third and fourth stations presented a medium level of difficulty, featuring the glass relay and jump and roll games. Meanwhile, the fifth station, composed of the obstacle relay, flip the bottle challenge, and caterpillar game, proved to be the most challenging, demanding, and strenuous part of the event. Despite all the struggles, the three sections still paved their way to finish the games at each station. As the teams crossed the finish line, the sense of accomplishment was palpable.
Furthermore, Section B, known as the Red Team, successfully secured the champion spot. Meanwhile, section C, the Blue Team, was hailed as the second, and lastly, section A, which is the Black Team, automatically claimed the third place.
