As part of the celebration for the National Civil Engineering Month (NCEM) 2024, the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers-Eastern Visayas State University Ormoc Student Chapter (PICE-EVSU OSC) is hosting a 3-day series of activities starting yesterday, November 11, 2024, at EVSU-OC.

Through innovative infrastructure and sustainable practices, civil engineers play a pivotal role in shaping the country’s development. Recognizing their contributions, civil engineering students gathered to celebrate this month with honor and pride.

The event consists of four (4) factions featuring: Structural Gravels, Rigid Rebars, Integral Scaffolds, and Analytic Asphalts. Also, PICE-EVSU OSC has organized several activities—Miniature Building Contest, Basketball, Volleyball, Chess, Sketchup, Spaghetti Pasta Tower, and PICE Quiz Bowl—related to the work and scope of civil engineering field. This gives students a chance to showcase their creativity, strategy, and sharp thinking while also fostering teamwork and camaraderie among future professionals.

Wrapping it up, this day concluded with a fun and engaging experience bringing aspiring civil engineers together.
