The Junior Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (JPSME) of Eastern Visayas State University-Ormoc Campus held its Reading and Amendment of Constitution and By-Laws today, September 18, 2024, at EVSU-OC Luna Function Hall.

The event commenced with a formal welcome address by Michael G. Mendoza, RMEE, RMP, RN, the Adviser III, who encouraged everyone to actively and openly participate as the activity is not only to review the CBL but also to engage in a crucial process of revision and amendments.

After the opening remarks, the program continued with the introduction of the organization’s advisers and newly elected officers. This was followed by a comprehensive presentation of the organization’s Constitution and By-Laws (CBL) by Amann Joshua Jabel, JPSME President . A key part of the orientation was the discussion on proposed amendments to the CBL presented by the Secretary Christine Jean Hermoso, where participants had the chance to voice their opinions and engage in meaningful dialogue regarding the organization’s future directions.

To conclude the event, the president of JPSME delivered a reminder and announcement about the upcoming intramurals. Also, he expressed his gratitude to all participants, officers, and advisers for their active involvement. The president acknowledged the efforts put into organizing the orientation and thanked the members for their enthusiasm in contributing to the organization’s success.
