The Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers-Eastern Visayas State University Ormoc Student Chapter (PICE-EVSU OSC) concluded the first semester with a bang, hosting its annual INTERFACE: Year-End Celebration on December 20, 2024, at the EVSU-OC covered court. The event, themed “Ascending to the Vertex: Charting New Paths in the Legacy of Engineering Excellence,” was a testament to the chapter’s commitment to fostering a sense of community and celebrating academic achievements.

The day was filled with a vibrant mix of activities, starting with a creative necklacing competition that showcased the students’ ingenuity and school spirit. The highlight of the event was the recognition ceremony for Civil Engineering Licensure Examination (CELE) passers, a moment of pride for the chapter as they celebrated the success of their fellow civil engineers.

A traditional Barrio Fiesta followed, offering a delicious spread of Filipino cuisine and providing a taste of cultural heritage. The festive atmosphere continued with a thrilling Amazing Race challenge, testing the teamwork and problem-solving skills of the participants.

The day culminated in a lively Music Jam session, where students and faculty alike came together to enjoy music and camaraderie.

The event was a resounding success, leaving participants with a sense of community, pride, and excitement for the new semester ahead.
