Eastern Visayas State University’s Ormoc Dancesports team have proven once again that they can hit hard, strike fast, and run like the wind as they showcased off grace and skill in one with movement and rhythm, in the dance sports competition tonight, October 25, 2023 at VSU Gymnasium.
Ms. Desiree Monsalud Solejon and Mr. Harris C. Rapales successfully retained their championship title in the recent SCUAA 2022 and repeated their victory at this year’s Regional SCUAA 2023, once again securing the gold. Meanwhile, Mr. Nathaniel Parrilla and Ms. Julie Anne Mercado maintained their second-place position by winning the silver once more.
In addition, Ms. Pia Lovelle Omega and Mr. Cerilo Soleybar also defended their title by claiming the gold in the Latin Category for this year. Furthermore, Ms. Bernadette Caidlang and Mr. Nonito Jumaos in the same category secured the 2nd runner-up position. The victorious dance sport team was coached by EVSU-OC’s Culture and the Arts Coordinator, Dr Guillermo M. Sodomia.
