The Eastern Visayas State University Ormoc Campus Men’s Volleyball Team emerged victorious as they prevailed in unparalleled harmony against the Ormoc City Evraa Team of Western Leyte College in the intercollegiate match game today, February 15, 2024, at the Elevated Court of Ormoc City Sports Complex.

The team showed prowess and determination in their powerful spikes as they went head-to-head against the opponent and gained their advantage in the first set through their consecutive powerful plays and hits. Despite the opposing team’s effort to resist, the EVSU-OC Volleyball Men’s Team succeeded in clinching the first set with a leading score of 25-18.

In the second set, the Ormoc Evraa Team of Western Leyte College bounced back in the game with a standing score of 1-1, resulting in a tiebreaker. The succeeding round was highly anticipated, as the eagerness of both teams to bag the tiebreaker round was displayed throughout the entire court.

Both teams continued to rally with cautious and calculated strikes during the tiebreaker round, resulting in a tough and intense match against each other, struggling to hit the goal’s score. However, the Eastern Visayas State University Men’s Volleyball Team did not let their guard down and continued to give their best shots. At the end of the game, the mighty eagles sealed their remarkable victory, dominating by a score of 25-23.
