With the theme “Profitable and Financially Secure as Possible,” Eastern Visayas State University-Ormoc Campus (EVSU-OC), through its Student Affairs and Services Office (SASO), successfully conducted a seminar on Improving Financial Management for Future Entrepreneurs on December 5, 2024, at the EVSU-OC Function Hall.

The event, attended by students from various programs, aimed to equip aspiring entrepreneurs with financial literacy and management skills essential for business success.

The seminar commenced with a warm welcome address and the introduction of the esteemed speaker, delivered by Dr. Joergen T. Arradaza, Jr., Head of SASO. The highlight of the program was the discussion led by Prof. Rhoderick Omega, MBA, who presented strategies and insights on effective financial management for budding entrepreneurs.

To ensure the students’ engagement and understanding, the event included a lively Q&A session, allowing participants to clarify their doubts and deepen their knowledge. Students also completed a post-evaluation to provide feedback on the seminar’s effectiveness.

The event concluded with the awarding of certificates to the esteemed speaker and the participants, followed by the closing remarks of Dr. Charlene C. Pita, RGC, Guidance Counselor, who emphasized the importance of financial readiness in entrepreneurship.
