In order to raise awareness of fire safety, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) organized the Regional Quiz Bee Competition as part of Fire Prevention Month. With the theme “Sa Pamayanang Nagdadamayan, Sunog ay Naiiwasan,” the event aimed to educate and encourage communities to work together in avoiding fires. Teams from different institutions showed their understanding of safety precautions and fire prevention during the contest, which was held today, March 12, 2025 at SM Ormoc.

Congratulations to Ryan Jushua Cortez, Johanna Nicole Bacalso, and Menche Margallo from different departments for securing 2nd place in the competition! Your dedication to fire prevention knowledge is truly commendable.
