The National Task Force Ending Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF ELCAC) conducted “Orientation for Youth and Students on Terrorist Recruitment” at Eastern Visayas State University-Ormoc Campus (EVSU-OC) Covered Court on October 14, 2023. NTF ELCAC spread awareness against terrorists and other anti-government agencies to 1st-year NSTP students of the university, highlighting the Communist Terrorist Group’s (CTG) actions and information. The said orientation was to prevent young students from joining any terrorist groups or any other anti-government agencies or organizations.

One of the speakers emphasized these remarkable statements in his speech: “Let us take pride in being Filipinos and support our government, because despite all its imperfections, our government was established by the people, for the people. Edukasyon, hindi Rebolusyon! Mag-aral, hindi Mag-armas!”

Indeed, NTF ELCAC encouraged young students to cooperate with and indulge in the vitality of education, as they portray a huge part of the government.
