With fervent passion and enthusiasm, the engineering students of Eastern Visayas State University – Ormoc Campus continued the second day of Engineering Days ‘24, with jam-packed activities, yesterday, March 26, 2024.

Resounding cheers echoed through the EVSU covered court as the thrilling championship matches for both volleyball men’s and women’s teams unfolded. Meanwhile, participants from each faction showcased superior tactics and strategies in e-sports games featuring Mobile Legend and Call of Duty, and in an intense chess tournament at the AC Building Function Hall.

The competition seamlessly transitioned from display of skills to an open an discussion of ideas as the debate competition engaged both viewers and competitors by delving into pertinent societal topics in the country. Subsequently, the “laro ng lahi” took center stage, featuring a variety of games that included “takyan”, the longest line, tug of war, speed Rubik’s cube, Maria going to town, and the Engineering Feud.

The second day of the event was truly filled with activities that peaked students’ agility, wit, and enthusiastic participation, underscoring the multifaceted nature of engineering students. As Day 3 is about to unfold, the excitement continues with a myriad of activities, one of which is the highly anticipated search for the Engineering Babe.
