Bachelor of Technical-Vocational Teacher Education- Food and Services Management (BTVTED-FSM) fourth year students of Eastern Visayas State University- Ormoc Campus, through the Student Teachers Association (STA), organized and participated a development seminar anchored on the theme “Developing Critical Minds: Strategies for Teaching Higher Order Thinking Skill”, last April 13, 2024 at EVSU-OC’s Quality Assessment Room.

The seminar aimed to enhance and hone the critical and creative thinking of practice teachers in terms of strategy making to address students’ needs, employ motivated learning, and achieve the desired outcomes in teaching higher order thinking skills.

To guide the aspiring educators and to share additional insights that might be useful in their field practice, Mr. Urbano A. Amodia, Ms. Ma. Alona Sanchez, and Ms. Vicky Hamtig Villarin graced the seminar as esteemed speakers.

The event concluded with the giving of certificates and tokens to the participants, speakers, and organizing committee.
