Step 1: Fill out the application Form from the Student Publications Office.

a. For physical copies, inquire for the form at the Observer’s Office within the application period.

Send the accomplished form to the spo email: observerspo.evsuoc@gmail.com

The subject of your mail should be in this format: SURNAME_SPO APPLICATION.

Step 2: Submit a portfolio (a compilation of at least five (5) previous works that relate to your desired position).

a. For those who will apply personally in the office, bring it with you either in printed form for literary or visual pieces, or as transferrable files for digital works.

b. For those who will apply online, send your portfolio to the same email address along with your application form.

Step 3: Once your application is acknowledged (official in-person acknowledgement and/or an email response), wait for an update on the schedule of screening/exam/ interview.

A roster of the top applicants after the screening will be selected and will be invited to join a free holistic workshop on journalism.
