About JPCS – EVSU OCC

The Junior Philippine Computer Society – Eastern Visayas State University Ormoc Campus Chapter (JPCS–EVSU OCC) is a dynamic student organization based at the Computer Studies Department of EVSU Ormoc. Established to govern and empower Information and Communications Technology (ICT) students, the organization is guided by its 2025 Edition Constitution and By-Laws.

The organization’s mission is to shape BSIT students into competitive professionals by providing hands-on learning, mentorship, and real-world opportunities. Its vision is to be the most dynamic student ICT organization in EVSU Ormoc, fostering an environment of innovation, collaboration, and leadership.

The JPCS – EVSU OCC is dedicated to academic enrichment by providing learning opportunities that strengthen technical knowledge and problem-solving skills beyond the classroom. It prioritizes leadership development to shape members into responsible leaders through the practice of teamwork, integrity, and accountability. Additionally, the organization emphasizes professional readiness by exposing members to real-world experiences, mentorship, and industry partnerships to prepare them for ICT careers. The chapter also seeks to drive community engagement by using ICT knowledge to address social issues while fostering innovation and creativity to encourage students to pioneer technological advancements.
