Last night, October 24, 2023, the highly awaited coronation event for Mister and Miss SUC 8 took place at the VSU Gymnatorium in Baybay City, Leyte. It was a night marked by grace and eloquence, as 11 delegates from various universities and colleges vied for the prestigious titles of Mr. and Ms. SCUAA Region 8 2023 and Mr. and Ms. PASUC Region 8 2023.

Mr. McLloyd Clean Clamor and Ms. Sophia Ann Jabien, both representing Eastern Visayas State University, showcased their poise and competence in the realm of pageantry. During the announcement of various accolades, Mr. McLloyd Clean Clamor secured the title of “Best in Barong Tagalog,” alongside Ms. Tiffany Grace Ronato from the University of the Philippines Tacloban College, who was also honored with the “Best in Terno Female” award.

Following that, Mr. McLloyd Clean Clamor and Ms. Sophia Ann Jabien were part of the candidates who made it to the magic 6, unfortunately they were unable to secure a spot in the final ranking.

At the end of the evening, Mr. Daniel Christian Acasio from Visayas State University (VSU) and Ms. Tiffany Grace Ronato from the University of the Philippines Tacloban College were crowned as the new King and Queen of SCUAA Region 8 2023. Simultaneously, Ms. Jessa Jane Belic from Palompon Institute of Technology and Mr. Bien Aris Siguan from Eastern Samar State University were named the new Mr. and Ms. PASUC Region 8 for 2023.
