With the goal of equipping the next generation of teachers with the necessary skills and knowledge, the 4th year Bachelor of Elementary Education hosted an Educators’ Empowerment Seminar on October 14, 2023, with the theme “Nurturing the Future: Empowering the Educators of Tomorrow” at the Academic Building Function Hall of EVSU Ormoc Campus.

Dr. Glenda P. Mas-Barquin, the BEED Coordinator, acknowledged the future educators and gave them a warm welcome to their exciting new college experience. She encouraged all of the BEED fourth-year students to underline the significance of their role in supporting overall professional development.

Guest speakers, Ms. Lotte Genevieve Arcelo-Pitong and Dr. Annie Vir Dalanon-Tariao discussed learning styles, strategies, and effective teaching techniques. They highlighted the importance of MELC-Based Lesson Plans and professional lesson planning.

Furthermore, ๐—ฆ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ฎ ๐—•๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—บ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ผ, the BEED Coordinator, concluded the seminar, she encouraged everyone to apply their knowledge into action by embracing MELC-Based lesson planning.
