534th NROTC Affiliated Unit Conducts Courtesy Call, Administrative Checking for LAGTI

The 534th NROTC Affiliated Unit conducted a courtesy call at the CD Office earlier today in line with the Local Annual General Tactical Inspection (LAGTI), where administrative checking was also carried out.

The visiting officers were composed of LCDR JIMSON L REÑOS PN, SSgt KENT CARMEL D MAKINTA PN(M), and PO2 JEROME A ARQUILLIANO PN, together with the Corps Commander of the 534th NROTC Affiliated Unit, MW/CAPT ELIZABETH M BUAYABAN 1CL.

In the absence of the Campus Director due to official travel, the visitors were received by Joseph Jaymel S Morpos, Officer-in-Charge, along with Mary Joy B Balitonado, NSTP Coordinator.

During the meeting, the discussion centered on matters concerning the unit, including issues and concerns regarding enrollees, funds, unit improvements, and ROTC duties both inside and outside the campus. Possible training opportunities for ROTC officers, where the school may extend its support, were also discussed.

The activity served as an avenue to address concerns, strengthen coordination, and reinforce the partnership between the institution and the ROTC unit in support of student development and leadership training.

Through initiatives such as this, the institution continues to uphold its commitment to the enhancement of the ROTC program and the holistic growth of student cadets.
