Senior Class Successfully Conducts 2nd General Assembly 2026 at EVSU-OC
The Senior Class Organization (SCO) successfully held its 2nd General Assembly for A.Y. 2025–2026 on February 28, 2026, at the EVSU-OC Covered Court, gathering graduating students for a comprehensive discussion of crucial updates and preparations for their final academic year.
The half-day assembly officially commenced at 8:00 AM and was attended by senior students, SCO officers, faculty advisers, and invited administrators. The program began with preliminaries and an audio-visual presentation (AVP), setting a reflective and purposeful tone for the event.
Delivering the opening remarks was Dr. Richard P. Impas, who emphasized the importance of unity, responsibility, and active participation as the graduating class prepares for one of the most significant milestones of their academic journey. His message highlighted leadership, accountability, and the collective effort needed to ensure a successful and meaningful culmination of the school year.
One of the key segments of the assembly was the Recognition Updates presented by Dr. Joergen T. Arradaza, Jr., Head of SASO, who provided clarifications and important reminders regarding academic distinctions and qualifications. This discussion ensured that students are well-informed about the standards and requirements necessary for graduation honors.
Updates on the Alumni Fee were discussed by Prof. Glenn Mar Jess Baltonado, Coordinator for Alumni Relations and Affairs. He explained the purpose and benefits of alumni engagement, encouraging students to remain connected with the institution even after graduation.
Transparency and accountability were highlighted through the Financial Report delivered by Ms. Jendel Almadin, Treasurer of SCO, followed by the Accomplishment Report presented by Ms. Jeena Grace L. Estrera, Secretary of SCO. These reports detailed the organization’s financial standing, completed activities, and ongoing initiatives, reflecting the officers’ commitment to responsible leadership and service.
Preparations for major culminating activities were also thoroughly discussed. Mr. James Laroya, BSHM Representative, shared updates regarding the highly anticipated Graduation Ball, while Mr. Alexander Morfe, Creative Director of SCO, led the Presentation of the Batch Name—an important tradition symbolizing the identity and unity of the graduating class.
Environmental responsibility was also given emphasis during the Tree Growing Activity discussion led by Prof. Bernie Palacio, President of Alumni, encouraging students to leave a sustainable legacy that extends beyond academic achievements.
Further Graduation Updates and reminders were provided by Prof. Roxy C. Bandejo, Adviser II of SCO, ensuring that students are guided step-by-step in meeting all requirements and timelines. The School Project was presented by Krista Resurrection Pacia, SCO President, highlighting a collective initiative that aims to contribute positively to the institution.
The program concluded with closing remarks from Prof. Roxy C. Bandejo, who reminded everyone of the importance of cooperation, discipline, and unity as they move closer to graduation. The event ran smoothly, thanks to the punctuality and active participation of the students, who demonstrated attentiveness and responsibility throughout the assembly.
The 2nd General Assembly served not only as an avenue for information dissemination but also as a reaffirmation of the senior class’s shared commitment to excellence, leadership, and service. As graduation approaches, the event strengthened the sense of solidarity among students and reinforced their readiness to face the next chapter of their lives.
