EVSU-Ormoc Campus Shines in 2025 LET; University Produces 1,110 New LPTs
ORMOC CITY — Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) has once again cemented its reputation as a premier teacher-education institution in the region following the release of the September and November 2025 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) results. The university officially welcomed a total of 1,110 newly Licensed Professional Teachers (LPTs) to its growing list of successful alumni.
Among the university’s satellite campuses, EVSU-Ormoc City Campus (EVSU-OCC) emerged as one of the top performers, delivering high passing rates that significantly contributed to the university’s overall success.
EVSU-OC: A Stronghold of Academic Excellence
EVSU-Ormoc demonstrated consistent quality across both the Elementary and Secondary levels, proving the efficacy of its “Silver Legacy of Resilience” as the campus celebrates its 25th year.
- Elementary Level: EVSU-OCC achieved a remarkable 84.95% passing rate, far exceeding the national passing average of 51.09%.
- Secondary Level: The campus maintained its momentum with an 84.80% passing rate, outperforming the national benchmark of 72.63%.
These results place Ormoc as one of the leading campuses within the EVSU system, second only to the Dulag Campus in the Secondary category, which achieved a perfect 100% passing rate.
University-Wide Performance Breakdown
The university produced a total of 190 LPTs for the Elementary level and 920 LPTs for the Secondary level. The collective effort of all campuses ensured that EVSU stayed well above the national passing rates.
