EVSU-OC Senior Class General Assembly 2025 Successfully Concludes, Setting Clear Path for Graduation
Ormoc City, November 15, 2025 — The Eastern Visayas State University – Ormoc Campus (EVSU-OC) Senior Class Organization (SCO) successfully hosted its crucial General Assembly earlier today, Saturday, November 15, 2025. Held at the EVSU-OC Covered Court from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the assembly saw an overwhelming turnout of Fourth-Year Students and their Parents/Guardians, highlighting the commitment of the graduating class to their final milestone.
The mandatory gathering achieved its primary goal of providing comprehensive clarity on organizational and logistical requirements for the upcoming commencement exercises. The event fostered essential coordination among students, their families, and the SCO leadership.
Key Discussions and Resolutions
The extensive agenda, presided over by the Masters of Ceremony, covered several critical areas necessary for a smooth transition to graduation:
- Organizational Leadership: The assembly formally introduced the SCO leadership, including Vice-President Glenn-Mark C. Serafica, BSED Math Representative Jomay S. Vasquez, and the dedicated SCO Advisers: Prof. Roxy C. Bandejo, MSHRM (Adviser II) and Prof. Bernie Palacio (Adviser I). SCO President Ms. Krista Resurrection Pacia delivered the opening remarks.
- Financial and Logistical Clarity: A central focus was the detailed discussion on Graduation Expenses led by Prof. Roxy C. Bandejo, MSHRM. Attendees also received important updates regarding the SCO’s Constitution and By-Laws, the official Calendar of Activities leading up to graduation, and the requirements for the Graduation Dress Code and Alumni Fee.
- Legacy Projects: The SCO presented details on key initiatives, including the mandatory Tree Growing Activity and other Proposed School Projects. Bidders for graduation-related services also presented their offers during a dedicated segment.
- Open Dialogue: A robust Open Forum allowed students and parents to directly address their concerns and seek clarifications, ensuring that all voices were heard and that consensus was reached on sensitive matters.
The successful event wrapped up with a special message delivered by Prof. Roxy C. Bandejo, MSHRM, and Michelle P. Villazorda, reinforcing the unified spirit of the Class of 2025.
High Attendance and Engagement
