On September 23, 2025, the first-ever set of officers of the Non-Teaching Personnel
Association (NTPA) of EVSU Ormoc Campus officially took their oath of office. The
ceremony was held at the Campus Director’s Office, marking a historic milestone for the
non-teaching personnel of the campus.

The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Maricel A. Gomez, Campus Director, who
administered the oath and expressed her full support for the association, together with Dr.
Richard P. Impas, Head of the Administrative and Finance Services Office, who served as
witness. In her message, Dr. Gomez emphasized the vital role of non-teaching personnel in
ensuring the smooth operations of the university. She expressed her gratitude for the
establishment of the association, being the first of its kind at EVSU Ormoc Campus, and
noted that it will greatly benefit not only the non-teaching personnel but also the entire
EVSU community, including staff, faculty, and administration. She further encouraged the
officers to work together in promoting unity, service, and professional growth.

In their acceptance, the newly elected officers conveyed their heartfelt appreciation for the
confidence entrusted to them. They committed themselves to advancing the objectives of
the association, strengthening camaraderie and solidarity among non-teaching personnel,
and actively supporting the administration in realizing the mission and vision of EVSU Ormoc
Campus.
