The graduating students of Eastern Visayas State University-Ormoc Campus for the school year 2023-2024 came together to conduct a tree-growing activity on May 23, 2024, in Brgy. Green Valley, Ormoc City, showcasing their commitment to environmental sustainability and community engagement.

The said activity was superheaded by the senior class organization’s officers, along with Mr. Bernie Palacio, Mr. Julito Acebron, and Ma’am Carolina Codilla, and was attended by graduating students from the Teacher Education, Engineering, Industrial Technology, Computer Studies, and Business Management Departments.

With their shared enthusiasm, they set out to contribute to the greening of Green Valley, Ormoc City. Not only did this activity foster a greater appreciation for nature, but it also promoted a sense of responsibility towards the environment.
