The third day of Engineering Days 2024 unfolded on March 27, 2024, at the EVSU-OC campus, showcasing the unity among engineering students from diverse factions through a range of activities.
Kicking off the festivities was the Literary Musical (LITMUS) held at the EVSU-OC court. It featured categories such as spoken poetry, dance, singing, and the battle of the bands (BOB), contestants displayed their artistic flair, creativity, and solidarity, revealing their full potential with vibrant performances.
Preceding the evening’s main event, an awards ceremony recognized outstanding achievements in games and sports from the preceding days, eliciting smiles and heartfelt victories from participants representing various factions.
In the evening, Engineering Babe 2024 officially commenced. Eight individuals from different factions captivated the crowd with their production numbers, showcasing their charisma and elegance. Fun wear and talent segments followed, igniting the venue with cheers and applause from enthusiastic groups. The evening reached its climax with a glamorous evening gown presentation, accompanied by serenades from two engineering students. The Q&A segment added excitement as three candidates impressed the crowd with their wit and confident responses, leaving a lasting impression.
As the event concluded, Rham Durano from the Differential Legions emerged victorious as ENGINEERING BABE 2024, receiving multiple awards including Showtime Sensation, Star Performer, Quirky Fit, Ms. Congeniality, Ms. Picture Perfect, and Ms. Popular.
Meanwhile, Janray Rezani from the Thermo Imperium secured the 1st runner-up spot as ENGINEERING DARLING 2024, also earning the title of Ms. Eloquent. Ruby Sumalinog from the Mechanic Alliance was celebrated as the 2nd runner-up, named ENGINEERING SWEETHEART 2024.
Before the event ended, Integral Brigade was crowned as the overall champion of Engineering Days 2024, followed by Differential Legion, Thermo Imperium, and Mechanic Alliance.
