Day 1 of Strengthening camaraderie, sportsmanship, and a pause from nerve-breaking calculations, the celebration of Engineering Days 2024 of talented engineering students from Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical has officially kicked off today, March 25, 2024, with a theme: “The Engineers Arena: Where Ideas Clash and Innovation Soar.”.

Enthusiastic vibes and cheerful noise that echoed around filled the campus as each faction wearing their respective colors representing their factions, followed by their palpable creative Yell Competition. The event was graced by the warm welcome remarks of IIEE president Jumar Y. Sumampong, who encouraged participants to enjoy and show sportsmanship.

The day was packed with a series of competitions, from basketball and volleyball to a quiz bowl in the morning. The afternoon saw participants battling it out in e-sports featuring Mobile Legends and Call of Duty Mobile, alongside mini boat making, poster making, and continuation of the ballgames.

The first day of Engineering Days 2024 ended on a high note, with participants showing agility, energy, and a competitive spirit. But this is just the beginning. There’s more fun and excitement to come in the next two days.
