In a triumphant celebration of unity and diversity, the Eastern Visayas State University Ormoc Campus continued its second day of Organization Days on February 17, 2024 at EVSU-OC Covered Court. Enthusiastic members from various organizations under one roof, showcasing their talents, camaraderie, and commitment to their respective causes as they competed in an epic dance showdown, anchored on the theme “The Dances of the Orgs: Dancing Through The Decades”.
It was undoubtedly full of mesmerizing dance performances that each organization meticulously crafted to pay recognition to distinct dance styles and eras. From the swinging 1920s to the disco fever of the 1970s and beyond 2000s, contenders were competitively showcasing their incredible talent in dancing.
At the end of the dance showdown, the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineering (IIEE) was hailed as the Champion and was also awarded with the three special awards namely; Best in Choreography, Best in Costume and Best in Production Ensemble.
In the evening, EVSU Babe 2024 crowned Art Andrew K. Silvano, AKA Miss Gwenn of the Society of Physical Education Majors (SOPEM), as this year’s EVSU Babe Champion.
As the event came to an end, the awarding of overall champion for all the competing organizations also took place, in which Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineering (IIEE) seized the overall number one spot for Organization Days 2024.
