The Faculty Association of Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) Ormoc Campus ushered in a new era of leadership as they elected officers to guide the academic community towards excellence, innovation, and development. The election, held on January 16, 2024, at the EVSU-Ormoc Function Hall, played a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of the school and ensuring the success of its academic programs.

The newly elected officers have taken an oath and are ready to shoulder a range of responsibilities aimed at fostering a positive academic environment, supporting faculty members, and contributing to the overall growth of EVSU Ormoc. Under the banner of leadership, the officers will encourage collaboration among faculty members and coordinate with the new EVSU-Ormoc Campus Director, Dr. Jeffry V. Ocay, to enhance the efficiency of academic programs. Their overarching goal is to create an atmosphere that encourages professional development and innovation, aligning with the university’s commitment to providing high-quality education.

As the faculty officers assume their roles, EVSU-OFA President, Engr. Robert G. Navarro, expressed his commitment to supporting the administration: “I will try my best to support the administration and the faculty as it will bring harmony… I will actively seek input and feedback,” he stated.

Furthermore, Dr. Joergen P. Arradaza, Jr., the Head of the Student Affairs and Services Office (SASO), brought the ceremony to a close. The faculty officers encapsulate the essence of their shared vision, positioning the EVSU Ormoc community favorably for the future.
