The Senior Class Organization (SCO) of Eastern Visayas State University-Ormoc Campus (EVSU-OC) held its much-anticipated General Assembly on September 2, 2024, at the EVSU-OC Covered Court. The event kicked off with a welcome message from Campus Director, Dr. Jeffry V. Ocay, who emphasized the importance of early planning for the 2025 graduation to avoid repeating past mistakes. He introduced a new initiative allowing students to pay their expenses in installments starting from the first semester. Dr. Ocay also took the opportunity to report on the previous projects of the SCO, setting the tone for a productive assembly.

The assembly continued with the introduction of the SCO Officers, led by their Adviser I, Bonard B. Torres, followed by the presentation of the calendar of activities for the academic year and membership fee. A key highlight was the upcoming First Aid Training, aimed at better preparing students for future emergencies. Four proposed projects for the SCO were also introduced, signaling a proactive approach to student engagement and leadership development.

Adviser II, Engr. Phoebe Lanzaderas, then presented the budget proposal for the Graduation Day Committee, laying out financial plans that will guide the seniors through their final year as students. The event also featured the presentation by Onefine Pictures, showcasing their promo for the graduation pictorial. To conclude, SCO President Jeralyn Era L. Garayan delivered the final announcements, closing the assembly with a call for active participation and cooperation from all seniors in the upcoming activities.
