Celebrating the rich tapestry of literature where modern narratives and ancient tales, sophomore students from Education Department assembled at EVSU-OC Function Hall on June 1, 2024.

Having the theme “Pantheon of Zoomers Depicting Myths and Masterpieces: A Culminating Activity of Art Appreciation, Introduction to Literature, and Contemporary Literature,” this culmination was to allow the students to have a deeper sense of connection and appreciation for arts and literature, as “experience is the key ingredient of literature,” said Ms. Kelly Cameron Rodriguez, the literature subject instructor. The main goal of this culminating activity was to let the future educator students understand the significance of being in the world of literature and give them the idea of having a passion to have a creative mind in order for them to use it in the future.

Students of BSED Science sections 2A and 2B had their Runway Show with their Philippine Mythology Portrayal, followed by the Mythological Play of BPED 2C students with their Greek Mythology: Stories of Love and Adventure, portraying the famous stories of Cupid and Psyche, Pyramus and Thisbe, and Orpheus and Eurydice. Lastly, the BEED students of Section 2B had their Greek love myth play of Ceyx and Alcyone, Pygmaleon and Galatea, and Bausis and Philemon.

The activity was made possible with the help and cooperation of the subjet instructors, Mr. Marlou Lonzaga and Ms. Kelly Cameron Rodriguez, and with the help of the students who actively participated in the culmination.
